FlowRoute started in 2024 after our founder watched a 400-unit sanitation company write off $180,000 in 'lost' restrooms — most of which were sitting on customer sites.
Our story
We started by asking a simple question: why does every portable sanitation operator we know run their business on a stack of three spreadsheets and a paper route book? Because the field-service tools built for HVAC, plumbing, and pool cleaning assume your assets stay in one place. Restrooms don't.
FlowRoute is the first platform built around the unit — every restroom tracked by serial number, scanned on every service, and surfaced the moment it goes missing. We're a small team based in Denver, with a remote engineering crew across three time zones. Our customers range from solo operators with one truck to multi-region fleets running 1,000+ units.

Every feature starts in a customer's yard, not a Figma file. If a driver wouldn't use it on a rainy Tuesday, we don't ship it.
